  1. Create a simple yet eye pleasing website design. Simple websites load quickly and can be easily indexed by search engine spiders.
  2. Don't use frames or iframes in your website design. To many frames in a website increase the loading time and therefor the robots will find it more difficult to crawl your website.
  3. Write unique and descriptive Meta title tags. Limit the tag to one good but short descriptive sentence
  4. The page name should consist of the relevant keyword as it will give an idea of what your website page is all about.
  5. Try to keep your title to 70 or less characters including the spaces.
  6. The words in the URL must not be joined. Try to use hyphens or underscores between words in the website page name.
  7. The page size must not be too large, average page size must be below 50 kb
  8. Use your main targeted keywords in H1 or H2 tags at the top and bottom of the page. The robots give a lot of importance to these tags.

  17. Always place the logo on the upper left hand corner of the web page. The search engine robots reads the web page like a human from left to right, top to bottom
  18. Avoid using pop-ups in your website page. This kind of advertisements cannot be indexed by the search engine robots and is also irritating to your web visitors.
  19. Use breadcrumbs in your website pages, if necessary. The breadcrumbs must consist of relevant words reflecting the content of your corresponding pages
  20. Create error pages for your website. Just incase, the user mistakenly or wrongly types an incomplete URL then this page will be displayed. This helps the web user to go the original website.
